WHAT ARE CALGEL NAILS?

 

Unlike gel polish systems which may require a perfect nail to begin with, Calgel can create the perfect nail by building and correcting ridged or broken nails. No need for additional products, one clear gel does all.

 

 

ONE PHASE

 

Calgel is a one phase treatment which means there is no need to use primers. Because they are dehydrating, primers make the nails brittle and weak.

 

 

LASTS UPTO SIX WEEKS

 

A Calgel manicure can last upto 6 weeks due to the ability to infil. This is twice the time of a traditional gel polish. why are infils good? taking off nail polish involves acetone which is dehydrating. By avoiding having to use acetone keeps those nails hydrated, promoting nail growth.

 

 

FLEXIBLE NATURE

 

Calgel is extremely hard wearing; its strength is in its flexibility as it acts as a shock absorber on the natural nail, removing the risk of chipping and cracking. This allows movement with the natural nail and reduces the possibility of breakage and snapping of the natural nail.

 

 

NO NEED TO 'TAKE BREAKS'

Calgel is a permeable system which allows moisture to travel through to the nail. Because of this, the nail can breathe, promoting growth, leaving a healthy nail underneath.

 

THE ABILITY TO INFILL

 

Fortnightly removals are not necessary as with regular gel polish due to being able to infill. You can change colour from a lighter to a darker shade, giving a whole new look without having to soak off, which can dehydrate the nail.

 

 

SOAK OFF

 

The removal process does not involve acetone and only takes a few minutes. No harsh tools, electric drills or files are needed. The condition of the natural nail will either be improved (if nails are damage prior to calgel application or remain the same (if they were in a good condition to begin with).
